COLA BAY

Mr Frank (McCoys Count) x Angelina by Serad (*Serafix)

Cola Bay and her dam Angelina were acquired by Patti Bailey in 1974 when Patti was aged 24 as her foundation brood mares. Cola Bay was Patti's first, and of course, all time favorite horse. She won in Halter, Show Ring Performance and was also the horse Patti learned Endurance on.

She was extremely comfortable to ride due to her conformation and cemented in Patti's mind the kind of horse she wanted to breed, and would establish her reputation... big, strong, long neck, short cannons, with just enough length of loin to be comfortable.

Phase II farm is now six generations away from Cola Bay and her progeny are still celebrated for being comfortable to ride.
